Corridor fitting: all A series diagram Firsts, C series Thirds, D series Brake Thirds, and E series Brake Composites are corridor unless otherwise stated, with the exception of the A diagram autotrailers, which are Open Saloons. All 4- and 6-wheel vehicles are non-corridor.
Body lengths are over corner pillars – bow ends usually add 1'2" or 1'4" for the overall body length (excluding gangway connectors where present). For Collett stock during the bow-ended ear (1923–30), FE = flat end and BE = bow end.
